Inspiration
First and foremost, our inspiration stems from the goal to be creative every day. Collectively, we strive to bring our artistic minds together with our technical skills to share our passion for creativity with our community. We’re also inspired by the aesthetic of our Airstream,
Stella, herself, and the joie de vivre and creative independence she inspires in us. The capability of our innovative traveling studio to reach a large and varied audience has completely captured our imaginations, and it is the cornerstone of our business model.
We are also inspired by the beauty of the earth and wish to protect the natural environment. We strive to use earth-friendly practices in every aspect of our business. One way in which we are doing this is by offering many classes that focus on crafting with recycled and re-purposed materials, allowing people to create new things from old or discarded items that might otherwise end up in a landfill.
Lastly, the wonderful creative climate of Austin, as well as the crafting community at large, inspire us. The rising popularity of crafting and the ways in which it is evolving to incorporate a very diverse crowd of DIYers with different styles, utilizing a myriad of techniques, has shown us that you can be inspired every day by seeing new and previously unimagined things that others create. The WonderCraft will allow all those involved to learn and share new skills, gain further exposure to the arts, and strengthen their connections within the creative community.
